We currently maintain a network of over 16,000 board-certified, active-practice physicians and healthcare professionals covering over 100 specialties. The panel is recruited by an internal group, which works with our Regulatory and Compliance Group and Chief Medical Officer to credential and train each Physician Advisor.
We have the resources and capabilities to respond to special review requests, and this enables us to comply with every unique medical review requirement. As an added asset, several of our physician reviewers are bilingual.
On the rare occasion that a request is made for a review to be done by a physician who is not represented in our network, our internal group is able to initiate special arrangements to secure the services of the appropriate physician in a timely manner.
Clinical Advisors join our panel only after obtaining the Dane Street Credentialing Committee’s approval following a rigorous review of the candidate’s credentials, including verification via ABMS, Board Certification confirmation, State License verification, and Active Practice verification. Thereafter, Dane Street monitors all US jurisdictions on a monthly basis to assess for potential ongoing development of sanctions for clinical advisor panel members.
